Step one: project planning
Irradiation with ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 230 nm and a power of more than 1 mW can be used to kill microorganisms without allowing resistance to develop.
Master purchased UVC LEDs directly from a Chinese seller. To test these LEDs, he soldered them to two different PCBs, which were a circular PCB with 7 LEDs and a rectangular PCB with 10 LEDs.
For further work, he will use a rectangular PCB.
He decided to use a plastic box as the main body. In the box, he cut a rectangular hole in the lid. A 3D printed part with a printed circuit board and a battery will be mounted in the hole.

The main printed circuit board is a switching board. When the button on the MOSFET board is pressed, the UVC LED turns on for a certain time, after a while the LED goes out.
To accomplish this task, the master used Attiny84.
The master connected five small 0603 LEDs to the Attiny84. The code is implemented in such a way that the LED indicator turns on in sequence (from 1 to 5), and then you need to press the button to turn on the UVC LED. The UVC LED stays on for about 10 minutes.

Next, you need to program the microcontroller. The programming is done according to the following algorithm.
First download and install the Attiny core files – https://github.com/SpenceKonde/ATTinyCore
Connect the ISP pins of the Attiny84 board to the ISP pins of the Arduino Nano board. Arduino is in “Arduino ISP programmer mode”.
Go to the board manager and select attiny84 as the main board.
Change the programmer to “Arduino as ISP”
Select the correct port and click the bootloader write button.
Then open the sketch you want to upload to Attiny84.
Go to the sketch menu and select the “Upload with Programmer” option or just press Ctrl + Shift + U
Then you need to connect a battery to the circuit and test the device.
