According to the Federal report, in each of the last four years, more than 1,000 children of illegal migrants arriving on the southern border of the US without parents, reported that they experienced sexual violence while in detention or in prisons.
The Federal office for refugees, which is responsible for the custody of juvenile migrants has received more than 4,500 complaints of sexual abuse and harassment in
the period from 2015 to 2018.
Reporting begins under the administration of Barack Obama. And about 1,300 of those complaints were serious enough to be the subject of an FBI investigation.
