Police are searching for a Maserati and its driver after shots were fired in a road rage incident last week in Washington, D.C., police said.
Security camera video recorded in Northeast Washington last Wednesday shows a vehicle that apparently “cut the Maserati off” as it was trying to merge lanes near an intersection, police said.
Moments later, the driver of the Maserati walked up to the window of the neighboring car and shoot multiple times at the driver’s side window.
The victim sped away, and the driver turned and aimed his gun at oncoming traffic before he fled. He and the vehicle, described as a two-door gray Maserati, were recorded by a nearby security camera.

The vehicle that came under fire was parked a few blocks away, with a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was treated at a hospital for minor, non-life threatening injuries; no further information about her was available.
The police incident report said two passengers were in the victim’s car at the time of the incident. It was unclear whether they were also injured.
Police said they have been unable to find the Maserati or its driver.
A $10,000 reward was offered for further information about the driver’s identity. Washington residents were encouraged to contact police via their tip line or their direct phone number with any information.
