In this article, the master will tell us how to build a pneumatic jet ski lift. The problem is that there is a difference between the pier and the water surface. For lifting boats, jet skis, a winch-type device is usually used. This lift uses a different principle and works like a submarine.
When the crane is opened, the lift is gradually lowered, when the remote control button is pressed, the platform rises.
It works as follows.
The platform is a wooden deck mounted on two plastic barrels. The barrels have three holes each. One (bottom end) for air injection, the second (top end) for overpressure relief and the bottom one for water intake. If it is necessary to lift the platform with a jet ski, using a vacuum cleaner, air is pumped into the barrels. If you need to lower the platform and lower the jet ski into the water, the tap opens, the pressure is released, water enters the barrel and the platform is lowered.

Step one: platform
First, the wizard builds a platform from the board. The platform size depends on the size of the watercraft. There should be space under the platform to accommodate the drums.
The barrels will be placed at the rear of the platform (and the rear will rise). On the front board of the platform, two halves of two brackets are fixed. The second parts of the brackets are attached to the board which is attached to the berth.
Step two: pressure relief line
The pressure relief assembly is one that must be completely sealed. When the jet ski rolls onto the lift, the air in the drums will be pressurized. Initially, the craftsman connected the garden hoses using the original quick-release connectors. However, these connectors were found not to be airtight. These connectors have been replaced with threaded fittings.
The barrels used by the master have threaded plugs, into which the fittings will be screwed. A hose is put on the other end of the fitting. The other end of the hose is connected to the PVC pipe. Through a PVC pipe, two discharges of two barrels are connected into one line. A crane is installed at the end of the highway.
Step three: injection line
An injection hose is installed at the bottom of the drums. The principle of assembly is approximately the same as for the pressure relief line, only here the tube is still installed almost to the rear wall of the barrel.
The pressure hoses of both barrels are connected to a PVC pipe. A vacuum cleaner hose is connected to the second end of the pipe.
Step four: hole water intake
Now you need to drill a large hole in the bottom of the barrel. Through it, water will flow into the barrel. The master cuts the hole with a crown.
Near the large hole, two small ones are drilled. They are needed to secure the end of the discharge tube.
Step four: assembly
When everything was prepared, the master started assembling. Placed the barrels under the wooden platform and secured them with straps.
Connected all hoses and fittings. The platform was fixed with brackets to the mooring board.
I connected the vacuum cleaner to the discharge line (the vacuum cleaner must be connected to “blow out”). For ease of use, the electric wire of the vacuum cleaner is connected via a radio relay. Those. the user can drive the jet ski onto the platform and, without getting up from it, remotely turn on the vacuum cleaner and raise the platform.
