Greetings to all lovers of tinkering, I suggest for consideration the instructions for making a powerful dump truck with a 17 hp engine. Such a machine can carry various construction waste, manure, brick, sand and other weights. The drive from the engine goes to a hydrostatic drive, which the author borrowed from a self-propelled lawn mower. The homemade product can move both forward and backward, there are several speeds. As for the overturning of the body, the author has not yet managed to do it, but this is in the plans. If you are interested in a homemade product, I suggest studying it in more detail!

– hydrostatic drive from a lawn mower;
– front and rear wheels from a lawn mower;

The process of making homemade products:
Step one. Welding the main part of the frame
We cut the profile pipes and weld the main part of the frame. Everything must be done very tightly, as the machine is designed to carry heavy loads. We use pipes of large cross-section with the thickest possible wall.
Well, then the author tried on and installed the rear axle with a hydrostatic system. Having well centered everything, we weld the fasteners to the frame.
Step two. Front frame and beam
We weld the front part of the frame from pipes, and the author made the beam from two channels. Bushings are welded to the ends of the beam, in our case these are pipes with bearings pressed inside.
Step three. Installing the engine
We install the engine, there is a special motor mount for it, it needs to be welded into the main frame. The rear axle will be driven by a belt drive, so the motor shaft must point down.
Above the engine, the author welded a primary frame from pipes, which will then be sheathed with metal.
Step four. Steering
All necessary rods and steering gear can also be taken from the self-propelled lawn mower. As an addition, here the author needed a steering rack from the car.
Step five. Sitting
We weld the frame made of pipes and weld the rails for the chair to it. It is advisable to choose a chair that is not afraid of water and moisture. Thanks to the guides, the chair can be moved and fixed in the desired position, just like in a car.
Immediately you can weld on the footrests and install the pedals.
Step six. Gas tank manufacturing
The author welded the gas tank from scratch from two pieces of pipes. We weld the fitting for connecting the hose into the lower part, and into the upper part we weld the neck for the cover. Finally, the tank is secured to the frame with screws using the fixing ears.
Step seven. Installing the motor
We install the engine in its place, install a pulley on the shaft, with the help of a belt, the torque will be transmitted to the hydraulic system of the rear axle. Of course, you need to make a tensioner for the belt.
Connect the pedals to the rear axle, and connect the ignition switch and the speed control lever to the motor.
Step eight. Body and painting
The author used a ready-made body, for its hinge fastening strong ears were made of sheet steel. To prevent the body from overturning itself, the author fitted a car lock on the frame. In the future, the author plans to equip the body with a hydraulic system.
