Poroshenko urged Ukrainians to “opt out” from Russia and to introduce “energy bezviz” with the EU

The Ukrainian leader addressed the people in the country with a speech about a single energy system with Russia.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during the opening ceremony of a wind power plant in Zaporizhia region, the government should engage in the sale of electricity in the European Union, and that “where else to put it”. Thus, the country’s leader urges citizens to input “energy bezveze” with Europe. It is reported by “League news Russia”.

According to Poroshenko, electricity nowhere to go but the transportation to the territory of Europe.

“What to do with this electricity? Because today, given nuclear power, industrial potential, there is so much energy is not necessary. We have a single energy system with Russia. And it’s wrong! We need to build transmission lines to Europe, because there is a powerful market”, – said Poroshenko.

According to him, the electricity that will be produced in the Zaporozhye region, should sell in the EU. Poroshenko noted that thus it will be possible to declare “energy bezviz” Europe for the production of Ukraine.

Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the party “Batkivshchyna” and presidential candidate of Ukraine, announced the beginning of procedure of impeachment against President Petro Poroshenko.
