Summer is the time of parties, barbecue and country gatherings. Diversify your vacation and surprise your friends and neighbors with a simple device for launching smoke rings. Film There is such a children's toy – an air bazooka. This is a plastic funnel with a diaphragm at the narrow end. The diaphragm is pulled back and returned by the spring. Film The result is an air shot. Of course, the shot is conditional, the maximum is to ruffle your hair, scatter papers or blow out candles.
Using this effect, the master decided to make a cannon that will shoot rings of smoke. Only, unlike a small children's toy, this is a cannon with a diameter of a large waste basket. And it produces rings of the same diameter.

Step One: Preparing the Trash Bin
The first step is to prepare the Trash Bin. This is a pretty straightforward step. You just need to cut a circle out of the bottom, but leave the metal about 3 inches (8 cm) from the sides.
Step two: aperture
The next step was to create the aperture. To do this, he put the bag on the trash can (on the back of the cut side) and secured it with tape.
In the center of the bag/diaphragm, he fixed two small plywood squares (on different sides). I screwed two eye bolts to the plywood on both sides.
Two more eye bolts were fixed inside the bucket closer to the edge. From these lugs to the eyebolt in the center of the diaphragm, you need to tie elastic bands.
Now, if you pull the diaphragm back and release, it will come back under the action of the rubber bands.
Step three: mechanism
Next, it was necessary to create a mechanism to pull and release the diaphragm in automatic mode.
First, the master installed the cannon on a platform. It can be any suitable material, a bar, a metal pipe, a pallet, the goal is to raise the rear part above the ground.
An aluminum corner is screwed on the sides. I drilled holes in the corner and installed a hairpin. The hairpin protrudes beyond the shelves of the corners and two nuts are screwed at its end. The hairpin should not be screwed on tightly, but on the contrary should be spinning.
A small gear is attached to a pin on one side.
On the shaft a large gear is installed on the wiper motor. On this gear, you need to grind off some of the teeth. The wiper motor is then secured to the corner so that the gears are aligned. In addition, the large gear must be oriented so that the diaphragm is pulled back to the maximum distance at the moment when the gear comes off the teeth. The engine must be connected via a speed controller.

The last thing to do is install a smoke generator. Drills a hole in the wall of the gun (next to the diaphragm). Pushes a PVC tube into the hole. The other end of the pipe is installed in the smoke generator.
