BRASILIA, Brazil — Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been taken to a hospital within the capital to bear tests for a potential intestinal obstruction.
The institutional safety minister, Gen. Augusto Heleno, confirmed to The Associated Press late Monday that Bolsonaro was at a military hospital in Brasilia.
Bolsonaro has been out and in of hospitals since an attacker stabbed him within the stomach throughout a marketing campaign occasion earlier than the 2018 elections. He has undergone seven surgical procedures since he turned president in 2019.
