More particulars are coming to light from the December incident in which former UFC star Chael Sonnen is accused of attacking six individuals in a Las Vegas resort.
TMZ obtained police documents in which one man advised cops that Sonnen punched him in the jaw as he was popping out of a room. He advised police he referred to as for safety.
Another couple advised police they encountered Sonnen exterior the room, and he turned belligerent.
Christopher Stellpflug and his spouse, Julie Stellpflug, reportedly advised police that Sonnen knocked a glass out of Christopher’s hand, threw him to the bottom and “repeatedly” hit him. Julie tried to intervene and was allegedly attacked.
Cops say in the paperwork, per TMZ, that Julie stated Sonnen “threw her against a light fixture” and punched her in the face. Her husband advised cops the blow cut up Julie’s lip, the report stated.
A witness advised cops Sonnen punched a safety guard in the throat upon arrival, with the witness then allegedly being attacked by Sonnen with a number of elbows to the chrest, in keeping with the report.
Sonnen reportedly advised police that he and his spouse had taken sleeping capsules earlier than the alleged incident and had no recollection of it.
