The 19-year-old posted a video sharing how he was accidentally sent an email from a company saying it didn’t want to hire him.
He posted a screenshot of an email from his desired company that learn “well that’s interesting ok so let’s reject him…”
“Yeah breakups hurt and stuff,” he mentioned, “but have you ever been CC’d on HR emails talking about why they don’t want to hire you?”
Richard’s luck received even worse after sharing his story on social media.
After receiving over 4.9 million views on his TikTok, he claimed he was then fired from his instructing job.
He mentioned he believes he was let go as a result of the email was from a fundraising company for the college he labored at.
Though the college didn’t particularly say the video was the explanation for letting him go, he claimed it used a very related excuse.
“They had told me that it was along the lines of ‘my social media did not line up with the school,’” he claimed.
According to Richard, he by no means signed a code of conduct or any type of guidelines to work on the college, so he feels it was unfair for it to fireplace him so simply.
